Perhaps you missed the interview Geraldo, the breathless and ALWAYS-YELLING-HIS-QUESTIONS TV reporter, had with Michael Phelps, the Olympic Champion.
Geraldo: MICHAEL, YOU ARE THE MOST FANTASTIC SWIMMER EVER! HOW DOES THAT FEEL?
Phelps: It feels good, I guess. I am proud of it.
Geraldo: PROUD? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME, DUDE. YOU ARE THE BEST.
Phelps: Well, thank you very much.
Geraldo: MAN, NICE ABS TOO!! ARE THOSE NATURAL OR DID YOU USE STEROIDS TO GET THEM? MICHAEL?

Obviously, I didn’t really interview Geraldo. But watching his breathless and over the top commentary from New Orleans during the Hurricane made me realize just how he INTERVIEWS someone.
Maybe it is just that he will never live the Al Capone SPECIAL REPORT down from the 80’s.
