A word or tag cloud is a Web 2.0 thing you see on a lot of blogs, even websites. Basically, it graphically presents the words in a document by relevance, alphabetical order, number of times the word was used, etc. You can read about them here.
A wordle is a word game. Jonathan Feinberg, an IBM researcher, combined both of these into Wordle.net, a time killer that will take any group of words and create a cloud for you. Cool.
So, what I did, in like 15 minutes, was go to several bloggers who I read every day, and “wordled” them. The bloggers are Seth Godin, Dr. Ellen Weber, Robyn McMaster, Jacob Share, Steve Roesler, Jason Alba, Drew McLellan, and Dan Schawbel.
Hat Tip: Paul Epps.
The resulting artwork follows, try to match them up.

Very cool! Have you run it on wwds yet?
GL:
This is sweet.
a. Clearly, Schawbel knows more than a thing or two about branding. This almost begs the question, “Is ‘to schawbel’ an infinitive denoting the digital proliferation of one’s surname?”
I’m now convinced he’s the guy with the can of spray paint who decorates the subway cars.

Please advise. The discussion is taking an ugly turn…

Hi GL, I found my wordle right at the top, but mine is black and white. Acutally I’m quite a colorful person! What’s up I wonder.
And thanks for including me in your list. What a fun game.
To give your writing some color, copy it, then paste it into the ‘create’ section of wordle.net which is right over here—>
Under the section called FILE CABINET.
What a great idea and thanks for including me. I also just heard of Wordle recently and was brainstorming some ways to take advantage of it, I love non-standard data visualizations.
I’m curious – how did you make mine?
I can’t find me.

My mum will be so sad
Sorry Reg, go back today’s post and look there. Plus I just emailed it to you in black and white.
