I am 20 years old, i have lived in illinois my whole life and i have helped my father run the farm since i was eleven, it was all i have ever wanted to do since i was a little kid was farm. However we just recently lost the farm to a divorce that wasn’t handled very well on anyones behalf. I would love to accept the job if you are still hiring by any chance i would be very happy to relocate. I have a cdl license which would help greatly in the fall with harvest, i have some experience with livestock but still room to learn. I have run the combine for about 6 years now in the fall along with driving a semi to haul grain to the local elevators. I have a decent amount of mechanic experience. I’v been taught very well about machenery maintenence, and probably have around 8 to 10 thousand hours of farm machenery operating experience. please let me know if you are interested or not.

I would like to know if there is still a position open either with the man your talking about or any one else you may know of . I grew up farming and work part time on a cattle farm now , in the area i live you you just cant buy land to farm and what is out there to be leased is tied up to other farmers who are having a trying time holding on to it due to land prices . I am sure that i would fill the expectations of any who need the help . Please get in touch with me if you can help .

I grew up in a farming and ranching family. I moved away from that but have always returned. I was a ranch foreman for 3 years but that was 1981 through 1984. I have recently accepted a buy out package from the company I worked at for 23 years and want and need to get back to what I love. I have spent summers hauling hay and harvesting sorghum and corn down in Texas. I am not afraid of the hard work or the long hours. I know what it takes to make it in the agriculture business. The summers are hot and the days long. The winters are cold and those days never long enough.
My wife and I have 3 children, all grown and on their own. We currently live in Colorado but am more than willing to relocate.
I am in good health and have the medical records if needed.
