Dr. Ellen Weber, PhD, asked me to write a guest blog on her wildly popular BRAIN BASED BUSINESS. More than I do normally, I actually thought about what I wanted to say, since so many non-WWDS readers would be reading me for the first time. But then I thought a second time and re considered. I simply wrote about three smart people that I have met, figuring smart=brains, you know. I was getting no where researching the topic since so much of the research was pointing back to her blog anyway.
If you haven’t found her yet, take some time and read her. Both she and Robin McMaster have very insightful posts about how the brain works and how we can make it work better. I always feel smarter after I read them, not a small feat for anyone who tries to get thru to my mass of cortex and synapses.

You look so young in that picture with Ike! And you already were slated to go to the Academy!
Actually, like always, you did a sterling job.
I was actually going to use you, Conrad as one of my examples. You were number 4.
Does the red in my face show clear across country? I’m honored, but I think it shows how friendship can cloud judgement. LOL
You’ve really been stirring up some interest on a number of fronts with this blog lately. Well done! I get that feeling that this is ready to make one of those quantum leaps in readership if it hasn’t already.
GL I think you should have been a newspaper editor. We sure could use one here so come on home and show ‘em how it should be done. Seems to me that you and Con could both do most anything you set your minds to. Of course you will have to learn to live like you did in the good old El Camino days but what the heck those days made you what you are today, right?

Ya done good, Pardner! Great post over there, GL!
Conrad, nope can’t see your red face from here today, but the sun is in my eyes. Thanks for the nice comments about the blog–I think most of it has to do with persistence and regularity.
Corky…now you are making me laugh out loud here. Ever since ol Henry left, right? Am I remembering right? I had forgotten those El Caminos…I prefer to think of them as Pre-SUV.
Robert—Thanks, as always ‘preciate the kind words.
great story GL—I have to keep reading so I don’t miss anything
What an honor, and thanks for being one of my smart people.
GL, you didn’t seem intimidated at all. You just connected the topic to sports and people you look up to and that made it easy! And, because it’s so natural like you, it’s fun to read. Your writing is very natural!
Aw, shucks, GL, thanks for your kind words. Folks would have a hard time keeping up with your synapses.
