Smart advertisers are making use of almost any media today. We have seen ads on parking lot barriers, airline barf bags and at the bottom of escalators. No space is ignored by advertisers,–street lamps, manhole covers. For a delightful time, visit Bored.com/billboards here.

If you have ever walked around in a big city, you have the experienced the sidewalk venting and exhaust systems. Homeless people sleep on them, Marilyn Monroe (see below) even embarrassed herself on one; generally, you do feel a bit uncomfortable, dirty even, when you happen to get a dose of that air-rush.

But now, artist Joshua Allen Harris, has created a piece of artwork called Street Monkey. Watch this space soon for an advertiser taking advantage of this idea, in some creative and off-beat way. Note: I found this at WoosterCollective.

I am thinking the JOBDIG dog would look cool getting blown up.
