I was taught early on while working at Saturn that how one sells is a “free sample” of your brand.

I’d say the same is true of networking — it’s a strong indicator of what it will be like to work with you.

That’s why I uttered an audible “amen” when I read your words, “Your networking cannot only be about you, or what is good for you.”

So true. Yet so often it is clearly about the networker and not not about the good of the network.
