This is a story about a regular guy, who like most of us, sometimes
questions his existence, measuring himself to others, not believing
enough in his abilities or his worth.
Then one day, his passion outgrew his fears as he stepped onto a stage,
stopped doubting himself and rose to the occasion.
Watch the faces of the judges as this guy walks out on the stage. You
can almost see what they’re thinking as they pre-judge him based on his
looks and the fact that he’s a cell phone salesman.

Dad… this makes me think that its about time you got over your confidence issues and finally pursued your life long dream of becoming a country singer. If he can do it, so can you.
Don’t give up. Follow your dreams, man.
Marin, did your Dad develop a singing voice over the last few years? In Abilene, we had several vocal sections: Soprano, Alto, Bass, Baritone, Tenor, and Athletes as I recall. I can’t remember your Dad in any of the first five.
Anyone that can bring out the good (I have always thought it must be hiding in him somewhere) in Simon must have been given that voice by God…it certainly sounded like it.
