The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Ty Pennington is in our area this week, building a new house for a very deserving woman who took in her sister’s four kids. I hereby withdraw Ty from my People Like Paris category. He seems like a good guy, doesn’t he? The former underwear model has a big heart.
And then there is Michael Vick. I see today in Court he is feeling awful and just remorseful as can be. I do wonder, don’t you, if those are his true feelings or feeling badly about being caught. As Wanda Sykes so cleverly said about Paris Hilton, “how can you screw up being rich?” Same with Vick…the Atlanta Falcons are now going after his $22 million,….omg…$22 million bonus money. Maybe he will be poor and not just stupid.
Commentators, pundits, internet security forces and editorial writers are now finally taking Monster to task for their security breach of about one and half million resumes. Finally. Hopefully, some HR managers will realize their continued use only helps a company who is doing more harm than good.
Don’t make this mistake again, Ms. HR person.
