1. Put the seat down.
2. When visiting a married woman, of any age, talk to her outside, not inside her house.
3. Hold doors open for everyone, not just women, all the time.
4. Swearing is not a sign of manliness.
5. Remember your mother’s birthday with a card, at least. Write something besides “Love, Me.”
6. Be respectful to anyone older. Especially policemen, teachers and girlfriends’ parents.
7. The remote can be shared.
8. Clean up after yourself.
9. Don’t wait to be told.
10. Shake hands firmly, stand up when someone enters the room, and eat with your mouth closed.
