I am not a big fan of cocktail parties…especially the drinking part. I do like to meet new people and blogging introduces you to a wide range of different people…some of whom you would never, ever meet. That part is fun.
Robert Hruzek of Middle Zone Musings invited me to participate in his meme…which is a clever way to gain readers, links, etc. I liked the topic…”What I learned from ____.” So, I re-told my white squirrel story. Here are the other participants…enjoy:

Clever? Little ol’ me? Scheming, perhaps, but clever - that’s something of a stretch!
Anyway, great fun, and some darned good lessons, too!
Thanks for jumping in!
I love your characterisation of blogging as “the new cocktail party” - very apt.
