Kenexa recently released a report stating they have lowered their full year outlook which dropped their stocks 24.5 percent. According to Steven Koeing, a KeyBanc analyst, “Kenexa has relatively limited visibility into revenue in the next quarter and beyond, due to variability in customer spending on Kenexa’s content and services, and is more susceptible to an economic downturn than software-as-a-service (SaaS) peers.” To read the full article click here.
Will Kenexa’s ATS components/customers be next on Taleo’s shopping list? Probably not, however, it will be interesting to see how everything pans out over the next year.

This is a very interesting phase in the ATS market. The two giants are at the logger heads. It will be too early and immature to say that Kenexa will be next on Taleo’s shopping list. It has got a very strong base and extremely smart leadership and will bounce back soon.
