Facebook the Movie

Movie plots stem from many different inspirations. Some are based on real events and others are born from fiction. When I was younger, I thought it was quite impressive that there was an entire movie developed around a video game release by Sega. However, just as I was caught by surprise back then, I’m fascinated that movie producers are looking at social networks for blockbuster hopefuls. That is want Columbia Pictures is intending to do by producing the Facebook movie. It appears the movie will focus on the evolution of the social networking site. Perhaps they will get Vin Diesel to play the part of Mark Zuckerberg…maybe not.
