Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

On October 31, 2008, JobDig will publish their first career section in the alternative weekly newspaper, the Nashville City Paper. This will be the first of three successful alternative weekly newspaper partnerships. In November, JobDig will also publish the local career sections for Louisville’s Leo Weekly and the Pittsburgh City Paper. JobDig is the exclusive local employment partner for these publications and will provide additional employment opportunities for jobseekers throughout these metro areas.

The Nashville City Paper, Louisville’s Leo Weekly and the Pittsburgh City Paper are all distributed in high-traffic locations within their respective communities. They each have extremely high pickup rates, offer valuable editorial content and are free to the public.

Local employers will now have the opportunity to maximize exposure amongst active and passive job seekers through JobDig’s multi-media approach to recruitment advertising. Beyond print, Human Resources professionals will have the opportunity to post jobs on jobdig.com and run low-cost radio commercials in each of these markets. JobDig is partnered with Cumulus Radio in Nashville, Cox Radio in Louisville, and Clear Channel Radio in Pittsburgh.

JobDig is excited to start working with these popular weekly publications. These partnerships are designed to help local employers connect with qualified candidates and reduce the cost of hiring!
