JobDig Launches New Blog: J.D.’s Blog

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

Very intentionally, the blogs we have been writing at JobDig (What Would Dad Say & Diggings) do not contain much information specifically about JobDig. Rather, they have both attempted to build a readership over the past two years by focusing on general advice for jobseekers and people interested in furthering their career (What Would Dad Say) and providing commentary on the media, advertising, and receruitment advertising industries (Diggings). While we have, on occasion, promoted noteworthy events at JobDig, we’ve pretty much kept news about our own company out of our blogs, feeling that readers were maybe not as interested in our own self-promotion. While that has been a successful strategy, at least as far as we can tell, we have increasingly felt the need to start a new JobDig blog that will contain only news about JobDig. And for that reason, we are launching J.D.’s Blog - a blog with news, updates, stories, product and service releases, employee news, and anything else we feel like placing in there about our company. There will be a number of contributors to the site, and we hope that over time, people who are interested in JobDig will find the blog interesting, entertaining, and informative. If you have comments, ideas, thoughts, or feedback, please leave a comment and let us know.

Thanks.
