JobDig Teams Up With Sioux Falls Canaries To Host Job Fair!

Sioux Falls, SD – On August 14, 2008, JobDig and the Sioux Falls Canaries will host an exciting Job Fair for local employers to connect with job seekers at the Canaries’ Stadium in Sioux Falls.

“We have always wanted to use our beautiful facility for a fun and exciting job fair,” says Sioux Falls Canaries Event Coordinator, Mallory Selway. “And when we heard about JobDig and saw their approach to recruitment advertising, we knew that they would be a perfect fit to help us carry out our goal.”

This Job Fair aims to put a new spin on traditional job fairs by creating a fun environment for job seekers to interact with employers. Employers were asked to be creative when thinking of how they could reach out to future employees. Music, food, delivery trucks, semi trucks, and outdoor games are a few of the ways employers plan to represent themselves at the fair. This event will be hosted at the Canaries’ Stadium and promoted through radio and TV commercials advertising the event with free admittance along with receiving a free Canaries home game ticket.

JobDig and the Canaries are anticipating 300 job seekers to attend this unique Job Fair. Thirty employers including Daktronics, CitiBank, HSBC, and Wells Fargo will be taking advantage of this opportunity to speak with local job seekers. Pick up the latest copy of JobDig in order to view a complete list of vendors attending the Job Fair.

JobDig encourages job seekers to attend this inaugural event from 10am-3:30pm on August 14, 2008.  There will be opportunities to hand out resumes and speak with hiring managers at the Canaries’ gorgeous facility.

Canaries Feature JobDig on Game Day!

Friday, July 18th, 2008

In preparation of our upcoming Job Fair with the Sioux Falls Canaries, JobDig was featured at the Canaries’ home game on Sunday July 13, 2008. We set up a booth and passed out papers at the front gates as the fans entered the ball park. Our JobDig mascot stood at the front entrance high-fiving and taking pictures with the families in attendance. The stadium announcers introduced JobDig and the upcoming Job Fair over the intercom as the crowd settled in for the game. Frequently throughout the game, our JobDig logo was displayed on the big screen. The day was a huge success and many lucky winners left the game with fun JobDig prizes! Stay tuned for more information regarding the JobDig-Canaries Job Fair on August 14, 2008 from 10AM-3:30PM.
