Food-O-Meter

Food-O-Meter

JobDig is proud to announce a great opportunity to help families in need! JobDig is hosting a food drive that will benefit people living in affordable housing units who are unable to meet all of their basic expenses. Sometimes these community members are forced to decide between paying for rent, food, or medical costs. Emergency food shelves must be kept stocked to provide nourishment for these struggling families. JobDig employees will be able to donate non-perishable food items until November 21, 2008. All donations will be delivered on Monday, November 24, 2008. Our company goal is set at 500 items! Thank you for your participation!

Aeon’s mission is to create and sustain quality affordable homes that strengthen lives and communities. Find out more information at www.aeonmn.org

JobDig Kicks Off United Way Campaign

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

JobDig believes that it is a professional obligation for companies to support the communities in which they do business.  JobDig recently announced that employees will now have the opportunity to support United Way!  United Way helps underprivileged community members meet basic needs and lead healthy, safe, and independent lives.  Most importantly, United Way brings communities together to create a better quality of life for everyone.  JobDig kicked off this new initiative by carving 80 pumpkins for a Group Home maintained by an organization called Opportunity Partners.  Thanks to all JobDig employees for contributing to this project, the recipients were very excited to have pumpkins for their Halloween party!

Habitat for Humanity

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

For the 6th year in a row, JobDig and its employees helped build a home for Habitat for Humanity. About 30 volunteers donated a total of about 250 hours of time in West St. Paul working on a house for a low- income family. The ‘Entrepreneurs House’ was the brainchild of JobDig director John Bergstrom (who is also a Habitat director) who felt that smaller companies were unable to sponsor an entire house on their own the way Fortune 500 companies in the Twin Cities do. The Entrepreneurs House allows a dozen or so emerging, high-growth companies to team up and work on a house collectively. Said Bergstrom, “For 5 years now, JobDig has been the largest source of volunteers to the Entrepreneurs House, and we love having their involvement. They’re also the most talented, hardest working group every year.”

JobDig Walks for CF

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

For four years, JobDig has supported and walked in the yearly CFFwalk to help cure cystic fibrosis. This year Josh Rock, the man under the JobDig dogsuit, again gave up his Saturday for this good cause. Several other JobDig employees also walked the three miles around Lake Calhoun all in support of CF and a special kid, Max, pictured here.
