Joe - I agree and you make a good point about Craigslist's other classifieds which I tend to forget about when comparing their traffic to other job boards and jobs sites. But as substantial as their position is in the jobs space, I also think their impact on the demise of daily newspapers, for example, is way overblown. They have definitely captured significant market share, but they have also captured a lot of the free postings and job/work/temp jobs (i.e., snow shoveling, nanny positions, etc.) that were never advertisers in the dailies.

Craiglist blows monster and CB out of the water.... with more uniques than both combined.....http://siteanalytics.compete.com/monster.com+careerbuilder.com+craigslist.org/?metric=uv - but keep in mind that probably only 50-60% of CL's trafic is employment related, so it is not entirely accurate to compare uniques in the fashion that you are doing, as employment eyeballs are different than 'casual encounters' eyeballs (not that I've ever been there, of course).

I think Compete sees craigslist.org and craigslist.com as two different sites, so for an accurate comparison you'd probably want to use craigslist.org.
