Steve Ballmer's interview by Walt Mossberg in which he introduces Bing is a case study in a MORON who has developed one skill if only one skill and that is to say NOTHING BUT NONSENSE in response to all questions and thus avoid revealing the true depth of his stupidity and lack of knowledge of things both in the tech world and within Microsoft. It is fascinating to think of his wealth and power and listen to the idiocy babbling out of his hyperactive and intellectually-paranoid mouth. You can see how nervous he is to actually say anything that means anything that could be challeneged, refuted or used as evidence or illustration of Ballmer's incompetence and stupidity. He's not even very good at the 'say nothing with any substance to it' babble and the junk coming out of his face hole really is tru junk, a stream of consciousness of words and phrases as random and spastic as his out of shape sweat bag bouncing across the stage. Something is wrong with this world with people like this in positions of wealth and power.

Ballmer has no concept of software and even struggled to operate windows. his claim to fame is he was loyal to Bill. As soon as it was a rumour he'd be in charge most of us retired.

Steve Ballmer also mentioned that the Zune will be an iPod killer and that the iPhone was an absurd product with no keyboard. Duh?!
Intact it has the ultimate multi-lingual keyboard something now that developers are emulating.
He also has an intense dislike to apple, Linux and Google. Office was first developed for apple. It also had the first spreadsheet application that used a GUI.
Balmer also destroyed interviewers property Macbook.
Gates left at the right time but left uncle fester incharge.

Consider an electronic device, that looks like a book or newspaper, with pages that can be updated or changed by downloaded new content.

I second. An idiot. I'm the a huge tech aficionado and early adopter, but I personally still enjoy reading word in print. Electronic media has empowered me to consume (er, scan) a larger volume of information, but the idea of curling up in bed during a fierce Minnesota blizzard with a Kindle is about as appealing to me as trading in my Westone for GuitarHero.
