As covered in a post from PaidContent.org, the Duluth News Tribune is eliminating between 15 to 30 positions or roughly 13% of the company. The northern Minnesota daily is owned by Forum Communications, which also owns a bunch of newspapers and radio stations around the upper midwest including the Fargo Forum. The PaidContent post also includes information on a bunch of other daily newspaper layoffs in the San Francisco are including the Mercury News, Oakland Tribune, and Contra Costa Times.
