In a few past posts (here, here, & here), I’ve commented on the growing ubiquity of advertising on airplanes. On a recent US Airways trip, I saw the phenomena firsthand (Northwest hasn’t yet succumbed to the temptation to this degree so I had been somewhat immune to this point) and was amazed at not only how prevalent advertising was throughout the trip, but also how many new ad locations airlines have managed to force upon fliers. Ads on Napkins? In the security bin? Regretfully, I forgot to check the air sickness bag which was too bad as the airline in an earlier post about ads on puke bags was US Airways. Not that surprising I suppose, but pretty obnoxious.
