In a good piece on MinnPost (an alternative to the daily paper founded by ex-Star Tribune people that you can read online or download and print) a representative from hyper-conservative Utah provides a valuable lesson for Minnesota about the value of modestly raising taxes and actually investing in transportation infrastructure. It’s a sad, pathetic state of affairs when we’re having to be lectured about investing in our future from someone from Utah. But it’s a very good article and MinnPost is off to a solid start with a decent alternative to the wafer-thin, increasingly irrelevant Star Tribune.
