Anything on a network that offers such classy (sarcasm) shows as Nip/Tuck, The Shield, and Dirt unfortunately has to overcome scrutiny that wouldn't exist against a HBO-drama. But after 3 episodes I'm convinced that The Riches will remain my Monday-night viewing (and yay for Monday-night repeats, I can watch Studio 60 at 9 and Riches at 11 and won't have to buy a 2nd TiVo). The most surprising thing about The Riches has been its marketing. FX is really demonstrating that their marketing department knows how to talk to their target-audience and how to say it. They were in all the right venues at all the right times saying all the right things. Now if only Aaron Sorkin could use their marketing talents for his flailing project...
