A recent email that arrived into our company from Career Builder looks strikingly similar to ads for Job Central. The Career Builder ad relates to their resume upgrade service, while the Job Central ad is part of their overall branding campaign. Not only are the copy and images for both companies pretty boring, they are completely unoriginal – though I am not sure if the similarities are coincidental or intentional. If the resemblance is intentional, I have no idea which site copied the other. In either case, the companies should both strive for a higher degree of creativity and originality in their advertising.
