My deceased father, Franz Mueller, long time professor at St. Thomas College, was a huge admirer of your father. That's what prompted us to see Sweet Land when it came to Kalamazoo. That evening turned us into huge admirers of you....and your beautiful movie.

We rarely recommend movies to our friends....but this one caused us to make many phone calls as soon as we got home. We've had many calls and e-mails thanking us for telling them about it. They, too, rate it the best.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Hi, Toby -- we haven't met yet, but I'm a GetGoMN colleague :-)

Just wanted tio say that my son Chris worked on this movie, in set design/decoration, and it has been amazing to see how well it's been received in its second release in area theaters. And I hear it's in national distribution now, too. He's also worked on the production crews of other MN films, including 'Prairie Home Companion' and the more recent 'Older Than America' -- which was shot in and around Duluth.

MN has quite a film community, I'm learning! But the jobs are still few and far between for these decicated young kids -- so they work at all kinds of crazy jobs in between in order to keep practicing their chosen profession.
