I know most blogs in the recruiting space have included posts about the Monster options backdating scandal, and I have no news to add to the discussion, but the uproar against corporate malfeasance should be loud, emotional, and constant. People and companies who break the law and cheat employees, customers, shareholders, the community, or any other stakeholder should be locked up, tarred and feathered, and berated by anyone and everyone. And most importantly, companies who behave in the manner that Monster has should be punished in the marketplace – customers should stop doing business with them. So while I have nothing to substantive add to the discussion, I am just trying to help, in some tiny way, increase the decibel level of the uproar against such behavior.

Time to read the Star Tribune this morning: 13 minutes and 38 seconds.
Daily newspaper recommendation: Deliver the paper each day with every section from the current day’s newspaper. Our home-delivered Star Tribune yesterday had 2 front sections and 3 Variety sections from the previous day, and nothing else. I’m not kidding or making it up. That was the paper delivered to our house.
